I am sorry we did not write a comment in your beautiful guest book. My sister and I stayed at the green windmill in September 2011. We had some flight problems and got in very late and the taxi was met at the gate at 10pm by Fontina. We have traveled many places but nothing in the world compares to the excellence here the facilities as well as the kindhearted owners. Hope we can come back.And thank you again for all the extra help while there. |

The Lilac windmill so clean and relaxing! A truly different place.
The sunrise at the windmill was even more spectacular than the sunset in Ia .
Good suggestions from Fotini to visit Pyrgos and the beaches to Perissa.

We were the first to book the Windmill and the first \"Brits\" to arrive,but are confident that we are first of many.
The \"Windmill\" is unique and along with the kind and generous hospitality shown by Nestor and Fotini made our holiday a very memorable one.Excellent cooking,fantastic view of the see and great recommedatios of restaurants-we have had a fantastic time.

Thank you so very much for a wonderful relaxing week.One New Yorker,one English and two Portuguess.When we saw your windmill on the website we thought it was nice but this week was really way beyond our expectations.Your hospitality and friendliness will be remembered by us and we hope to see you again when we come back to Greece(or maybe when you come to Lisbon,NY or Laugarote)
We will take in our memories the colours and sounds of the sea and villages of Santorini,and of course the tastes of the great food at the Windmill(the graps,the figs,the mulberr cake,the moussaka...)
We are missing this already!

It's 2:00 a.m Sunday morning and we're packing wiyh tears of happines and sadness at the same time.
With all the wishes Julia and I made upon the shooting stars here,one was to comeback.To taste the figs and tomatoes from your back yard,hear the ocean,watch the sunrise from our bed and smell the parfume of Summer.
As beautiful as the windmill is,it wouldn't be the same without your love and effort.
Thank you for all your kindness and help.
We wish the windmill to be a shelter for many more people in love finding their peace in Santorini island.

Dear Nestor and family
We are very happy to have been able to visit your windmill at last.Sonja has enjoyed this week very much and we are all very happy that you made it possible for us \"our\" family with 2 little ones, to visit the \"unique and chique\" windmill. You surprised us with a very nice greek dinner at our arrival.Altough we never met you before it seemed like we knew you.Rinske really loves or rather adores you!! She even sang you a song while you were cleaning the pool. Dear Nestor and family,
I wanted to say thank you so much for your wonderful honeymoon in the Windmill. It was so relaxing and we felt like we were living in our own world. Next time, we\'ll bring 2 friends to live in the second bedroom! The lighting is the highlight of the windmill. With so many lights - spot lights, wall lights, pool lights, candle holders - it looks just magical in the evenings. Thank you again. A big 5* recommendation to others from us!
